TRIAL TO BEGIN FOR A CASE WHERE AN OWI CLIENT'S BLOOD DRAW DID NOT FOLLOW REGULATION
Categories: Karen L. Phillips

Attorney Karen Phillips is currently preparing for a Trial for a client who has been charged with Operating While Intoxicated (OWI).  In this case, Ms. Phillips has been working on a motion to get the client’s blood results suppressed.  As the blood draw, which occurred at a local hospital,  was not performed with the typical Michigan State Police Tri-Tech kit, and the test results were never sent  to Michigan State Police for analysis, Ms. Phillips has been doing her research in an attempt to prove that the hospital’s method of analysis does not match the standards of the Michigan State Police Toxicology Lab’s method from a legal point of view.
