The Friends of the Ingham County Veterans Treatment Court has received an infusion of financial help to meet the needs of the community's veterans who find themselves in the criminal justice system. "Lawyers really do have a commitment to seeking justice and the foundation's generous contribution is a great example of that commitment right here in Ingham County," said Larry Salstrom, President of the The Friends of the Ingham County Veterans Treatment Court.

The ICBF contributed $2,700.00 to the icvtc board on December 15th, 2011. The ICVTC helps veterans help themselves by providing support through mentors and other services to veterans who find themselves in the criminal justice system.

The court was launched in 2010 through the 54B District Court. The foundation's work through this grant can be seen first hand at the next ICVTC graduation on February 7, 2012. Salstrom added, "the court's mission is no veteran left behind." You can join the court by liking the court's Facebook page.
