Michigan OWI and OUID Attorney Mike Nichols Prepares for Michigan Association of OWI Attorneys Fall Conference – Just in Time for Book Update Release

Michigan OWI and OUID Attorney Mike Nichols invites lawyers, judges and prosecutors from all over Michigan to the fall conference for the Michigan Association of OWI Attorneys. “This conference features international experts in the field of measurement, breath alcohol testing, blood alcohol testing and persuasion,” says Nichols of East Lansing. The conference will be December 5-6 at the Book Cadillac Westin in Detroit. Nichols says “this is our second fall conference and the ability to have such excellent names from attorneys to scientists will certainly raise the bar of the knowledge-base and the skill of the lawyers who attend.

The Michigan Association of OWI Attorneys (MIAOWIA) is a statewide organization that Nichols helped co-found in 2012. Nichols currently serves as the Secretary of the organization. Nichols plans to donate 2 copies of the updated Michigan OWI Handbook by West Publishing. He says it is the latest statement on Michigan law and forensic testing in breath and blood alcohol testing: “I just finished the update over the summer of 2014 and the update arrived in the mail on November 21st.”
