By Michael Nichols
Categories: Michael J. Nichols, Drunk-Driving, OWI

Mike Nichols will educate other lawyers on Michigan’s so-called “superdrunk” law in October. Mr. Nichols will address the Ingham County Bar Association’s Criminal Law Section in October, 2010 on the changes to Michigan’s OWI law. “Many lawyers are unsure what this new law means and how it will affect their clients,” Nichols said. He added: “I think that it could very well lead to more trials because of the fact that anyone who pleads guilty to OWI will face ‘supertough’ sanctions.” The Ingham County Bar Association is one of the strongest bar associations in the state. Mr. Nichols is starting his 7th year as co-chair of the criminal law section.
