Members of the East Lansing Police Department put on the race each fall through the beautiful trail network that starts at the East Lansing Soccer Complex and winds through neighborhoods on the city's north end.  You can find out more about the event at www.cityofeastlansing.com. "I plan to run and have a great time, but the event is great for walkers, too" said Mike Nichols.  First time runners, or runners who want to hit a target time, have the availability of a professional trainer and running coach, as Owen Anderson will offer free tips as a community service. Go to www.educatedrunner.com.  "Fall is a great time to run and I hope to see as many people out as possible. It's a great cause and a great event" Nichols added.
