Wendy Schiller-Nichols recently settled a Wrongful Death suit for a fatal automobile accident involving 3 vehicles. Wendy’s client was 1 of 3 plaintiffs involved in the Wrongful Death suit, which were the driver & 2 backseat passengers. Unfortunately, the automobile insurance policy limit was $500,000, which the 3 plaintiffs could not come to agree upon the distribution of money. Since the 3 plaintiffs could not decide on the distribution of the money, they all agreed to facilitate the matter with Justice Alton Davis. The vehicle the 3 plaintiffs were in was rear-ended by another vehicle, and then hit again by a second vehicle that was traveling in the opposite direction. As a result of the 3 car accident, the driver suffered serious injuries and one of the backseat passengers died at the scene of the accident. Wendy’s client, the second backseat passenger, was rushed to a hospital to be treated for numerous injuries and leg amputation. Her client remained at the hospital & nursing home for the following 4 months, until her client was eventually unable to sustain life.
After an all day facilitation with Justice Alton Davis, the 3 plaintiffs settled the matter. Out of the 3 plaintiffs, Wendy was able to obtain a very favorable settlement for her client, especially considering the available funds had to be divided between the plaintiffs. It’s comforting to know that Wendy is determined to get her clients the best possible result possible.
