Karen Phillips successfully suppressed Datamaster results of .15 and .13 for a client of the Nichols Law Firm. The .15 and .13 breath results were suppressed by a judge of the City of Lansing for violation of the Michigan Administrative Rules requiring a 15 minute observation period. The arresting officer could not specify what time the observation period began or what clock she looked at to verify the start time and the videos from inside the jail showed less than a 12 minute observation period.
