Michigan OUID-OWI-OUIL attorneys Mike Nichols and Wendy Schiller-Nichols of East Lansing recently attended a ceremony in Grand Rapids. 86 people from 39 countries became United States citizens on June 20, 2012.

President Obama announced amnesty on a limited basis for the children of illegal immigrants. However, if you otherwise qualify for amnesty under the provisions of what is called the "dream act" an OWI conviction may cost you the ability to stay in the United States. "It may be classified as a 'serious misdemeanor' under immigration policy," says East Lansing attorney Mike Nichols.
