LEARN THE LABOR DAY DUI CRACKDOWN TARGET TIMES - RIGHT DOWN TO THE SHIFT FROM MICHIGAN OWI ATTORNEY MIKE NICHOLS

By Michael Nichols
Categories: Michael J. Nichols, OWI

The Michigan State Police launched a new campaign to crackdown on drunk driving for the Labor Day Holiday. The campaign is paired with a public service announcement drive that features the voices of young males who participated in a focus group and gave statements about their frame of mind in driving after drinking.
"I support the reduction of drunk driving," says OWI attorney Mike Nichols. "Knowledge of when to be aware of hypervigilent officers who are trying to focus on making drunk driving arrests to show a return on grant money will help people avoid arrests even when the officer might not arrest in normal circumstances."
Nichols is the author of the newly-updated Michigan OWI Handbook for lawyers by West Publishing and a chapter for the Aspatore Publishing "Inside the Minds" series on DUI Mathematics. mnichols@nicholslaw.net
