PHYSICAL CUSTODY AWARDED TO CLIENT OF KAREN PHILLIPS

By Michael Nichols
Categories: Family Law

Karen Phillips secured an award of primary physical custody for a mother and client of the Nichols Law Firm.  Custody became an issue during a divorce proceeding, where the mother lived out of the State of Michigan and was an active member of the United States Navy.  Both parents wanted to have primary physical custody of the child, who was only 5 years old and about to begin school.  After hearing from both parties and other witnesses, the Judge decided that it was in the best interests of the child to remain with her mother during the school year.

If you are involved in a divorce or custody action and need someone in your corner to fight for you and for what is in the best interests of your child, call Karen Phillips at (517) 432-9000.
