Did the officer arrest you based on your performance on sobriety tests? Did he do them correctly

If not, it is inexcusable and could be a basis for a dismissal of the charges. Michigan drunk driving attorney Mike Nichols is paving the way to hold officers accountable to follow their training.

Mike Nichols of Meridian Township has been following the changes in the law and the training of Michigan police officers. "Officers are required to be trained in the standardized field sobriety tests" says Nichols. It is not too much to ask to hold them to administer those tests correctly? A  judge in southwest Michigan agreed recently. The judge dismissed an OWI case in South Haven when the officer failed to follow his training or even express an understanding of it.
