An adventerous graduate of Michigan State University, William Livingston joined the Nichols Law Firm recently and already he's learned the ropes of being committed to results. "They say that the LIvingston family is so ingrained in Livingston County, that 'they' named it after them," says Nichols Law Firm member Mike Nichols. Livingston was one of the best students in the DUI Law and Practice Class taught by Nichols at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School so Nichols offered him a job when he passed the bar in November, 2014.
Nichols says "Bill showed me it was a good move immediately when he pushed a moving violation causing death case to trial and he ended up getting his client a traffic ticket at the 11th hour, just saving the man's driving privileges and pretty much his career." Livingston is a graduate of Howell High School and Michigan State University. He grew up in Howell, the county seat of Livingston County.
He began working with the Nichols Law Firm as a law clerk while preparing for the bar exam and became an associate attorney in November 2014. He practices mainly in the criminal law field but also has experience in handling family law matters and civil infraction challenges. William, or Bill as he is known by his friends, has always been fascinated by American history, science, and the outdoors. When not in the office or the courtroom, Bill loves to be outside boating, camping, golfing, or hanging out with his dog. Nichols says "Bill is one of those guys whose love for the outdoors and staying active is going to serve him well in the world of litigation and representing people with real problems.
