Fork lift, construction site Injury Settles for $20,000

Attorney Wendy Schiller-Nichols was able to resolve a case wherein a fork lift back up onto her client’s leg causing bruising, swelling but no fracture.  The client alleged that the fork lift did not have a reverse alarm as required by OSHA.  The at fault driver of the fork lift alleged that the back-up alarm was operating and that the client was wearing a gray hoodie instead of an orange vest as required by OSHA.  The client sustained a bruised ankle requiring no surgery.
