Karen L. Phillips secured yet another victory in getting a citizen their driving privileges back. After two convictions for alcohol-related driving incidents, a citizen had his driving privileges revoked for one year by the Secretary of State (SOS). At the SOS hearing, the license was not reinstated after a diluted urine sample and inadequate letters of community support. Ms. Phillips appealed that decision to the Circuit Court, and after the Circuit Court judge said the case should go back to the SOS hearing officer to allow new letters and evidence of why the sample may have been diluted the driver’s license was granted after the client submitted additional letters and a new urine sample. |
