By Michael Nichols
Categories: Minor in Possession

Lansing-attorney-Karen-Phillips was the only attorney to secure an acquittal on all charges for her client, an alleged “Cedar-Fest rioter” after a 2008 incident.  Cedar-Fest has been a notorious event in East Lansing history, often leading to police officers in riot gear launching smoke bombs and tear gas in the Cedar-Village area just adjacent to Michigan-State-University campus and densely populated with students.  The charges the Nichols-Law-Firm client was acquitted of were Disorderly – Drunk in Public, Disorderly – launching a missile or bottle, and Disorderly – Assemble to Riot.

Lansing-attorney-Karen-Phillips is available to discuss any criminal charges at kphillips@nicholslaw.net or 517.432.9000.
