MIKE NICHOLS CALLS INTO QUESTION THE VALIDITY OF PROCEDURES AT THE LANSING TOXICOLOGY LAB

A 6 hour hearing before a judge in a Northern Michigan District Court may produce information that could prove earth-shattering for thousands of drunk driving defendants. “The judge is going to sign an order to help us get information that could call into question the reliability of some of the procedures at the Lansing lab,” Mike Nichols said. Mike Nichols is part of a team of attorneys working to defend a motorist charged with felony drunk driving. MIKE NICHOLS HONORED TO EDUCATE NEW LAWYERS ON DEFENDING THE INDIGENT

Mike Nichols delivered a presentation on client management to new lawyers on January 24th, 2009.  Mr. Nichols addressed lawyers on the list of attorneys who represent indigent defendants as part of a training seminar presented by pretrial services for the 30th Judicial Circuit. "I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning than to help attorneys who are just getting started with some tips on how to manage clients and cases" said Mr. Nichols.

MIKE NICHOLS LECTURES ON DRUNK DRIVING DEFENSE

Mike Nichols will deliver a presentation to the Ingham County Bar Association on DUI defense.  Mr. Nichols will speak on February 18th at the ICBA luncheon lecture on how to analyze a drinking and driving case.  The material will cover the basic analysis of a case and an overview of drinking and driving laws.
